Mindful of the temperatures in my shed yersterday, I tried an early session.
Seeing looked good but rapidly deteriorated ( not out early enough :-) )
Anyway at least I got some images with the Tal/PST mod.
PGR G3 20 frames stacked from 300 frame SERs. Plastic bag flat and processed a little
less ( for me ).
Best wishes,
David

Beautiful images David! Could you describe what a 'plastic bag flat' is? How does this help your images? Thank you.

Re: Early doors sun 19/6/17
Thank you all.
Randall, a plastic bag flat is nothing more than a short sequence shot with a simple bag over the
objective ( one of the supermarket fruit bags ). I am struggling with Newton's Rings and have not got round to
buying a tilt adjuster to solve the issue. As an added bonus it saves me a separate step with an artificial flat.
I use drifting with my full disk imaging as an alternative to remove NR effects.
MalVeauX has a nice little tutorial on using defocussing for flats here on the site as an alternative.
Best wishes,
David
