AR2674 close up in H-a with C11, ARIES 295mm DERF and QUARK Chr.

Post by Valery »

Hi folks,

Morning August 31 2017 was quite frustrating cloudness and seeing wise. I have monitored the holes in the cloudness and a good seeing
when the sun shines through these holes. I was able to catch only one period of a barely acceptable seeing (3-4 of 10).
No luck with imaging of other spots AR2673 and AR2672.

Here is the AR12674 group image after processing.

Telescope is C11 280mm F/10 classic SCT equipped with the ARIES two bands DERF and Quark Chromosphere etalon.
Camera is Basler 1920-155 at 6ms exposure and about 160fps. No SSM were used.

Thanks for looking.

Valery

Thanks Jean, Stu and David for your kindness.

I hope that todays image will come out better. Stay turned.

Now that's a nice image Valery, not your usual super close up & I prefer it to be honest, probably done because of the seeing. Yes it looks a little 'soft' but a great capture. What res was the Basler on ?
