Today, after multiple modest captures, a brief period of reduced turbulence arrived and allowed the following captures. I think these are the best of my AR2674 captures to date and, tomorrow could be even better. Best viewed in the enlarged window.
I was at Griffith Observatory a few months ago. They had a wonderful exhibit about the sun with several images displayed. One was of sunspots in WL and the info claimed it was as detailed as possible. These (and several others like it on this forum) are FAR superior than the Griffith examples. Simply astonishing work here!
