I started with Sun photography end of 2007 / beginning 2008 (10 years ago ant he sun looked like this ... and I did the photography through the window of my dining room :-) I think I started during the Solar minimum of Solar cycle 24 and have followed it all these years

Me too but I guess that such a narrow bandwidth of maybe 0.7 to 0.5 angstrom does not get disturbed by glass ...

I am not an expert but I have seen no difference at open air or behind glass
