20th Feb, very quiet but tried a close up

Post by robert »

Very quiet sun but even at 20 degrees altitude and hazy it was just possible to image some granulation in white light. Skywatcher 200mm Newtonian with Televue x5 (fl 5000mm). Tiny bits of activity are visible in CaK.

Hi Robert,
Nice disks. For the granulation shot in WL are you using any additional filtration with the wedge?
Thanks,

Christopher

Thanks,
Thanks Christopher. Sorry about my captions. I have added some details to make the setup clearer.
