Sun close up in the CaK with C11 280mm scope

Post by Valery »

Hi all,

He is the image from my 2017y. archive.

August 21, 2017. The Sun was very active and I took some photos in Ca-K.

C-11 280mm F/10 SCT was used with ARIES full size front mounted DERF and
CaK PST etalon.

Seeing was average with some improvements.

Thanks for looking.

Valery

A very impressive image, Valery. August 21 was the day of the eclipse in the US, right ?
