The Solar Chromosphere (Ca-K) 24 February 2018

Post by David_The_Bears_Fan »

Bright sunny skies yesterday afternoon but quite breezy and the seeing was up and down. Not a bad result considering how quiet the Sun is at the moment. A few nice if small proms on show. This one was the larget of them and the others weren't really large enough for me to do anything with.

The prom looks lovely in CaK :hamster: :bow it was such beautiful weather this weekend but the wind did a good job of freeze drying every exposed finger on the telescope.
