Great image. Just one question. Why do I see that image so dark ?
I work on a calibrated Adobe RGB monitor. Every 2 weeks I recalibrate my monitor as I do print for customers on 24" wide and 17" wide printers.

Rainer,
I calibrate my monitor so, that I see with a confidence the darkest and the brightest tones of a b/w scale.
I guess Alexandra do use similar to my computer ( 17" Dell Inspiron with E-IPS screen). Let ask her is my image too dim when the
monitor shows the darkest and the brightest tines as different to second darkest and second brightest ones.

Re: AR12681 C11 + ARIES full size DERF and 0,2A etalon.
I would say your image looks fine to me, black is black and the white areas are not over exposed, with a range of grey in between. My Dell Laptop is all on default settings (never done anything). I guess when I do print out some of my images are very very slightly darker on the print, so my screen is perhaps a little on the bright side. I know Valery is more on the contrast style so some can be a bit dark but then this is art

Great images as usual. I am still trying different post-processing techniques to achieve that "fluid" look ....
