Excellent images Robert. You had the sun today, for us has been april showers. In the few fleeting seconds the sun does come out it does feel quite warm so maybe this is the start of spring?

Yes Franco. There is a layer of Jurassic sediment under the much more recent lava layers that make up most of Skye. At some places the sea has cut into the layer and exposed ancient mud with footprints on. There were a few known examples but recently some researchers in Edinburgh have been putting in some extra effort. Skye is about 65 miles long and the footprints are 30 or 40 miles from us.
