First test with APM 152/F8 telescope

Post by Ronnie_Clayton »

Hello Friends.

Last weekend I´ve did the first test with my APM/LZOS telescope. Unfortunately the seeing was not good :( (especially for lunar)...

For Solar Image: APM/LZOS 152/F8 - G11 - SS 0,3A - TZ4 - D-Erf 160mm - DMK51
For Lunar Mosaic: APM/LZOS 152/F8 - G11- DMK51 (7 images for mosaic).

BR

Ronnie

It seems to me that seeing was just fine, great images! Clearly much higher resolution on the mottles than what I get from my 90 mm.

My software:
Stackistry — an open-source cross-platform image stacker
ImPPG — stack post-processing and animation alignment
My images

SW Mak-Cass 127, ATM Hα scopes (90 mm, 200 mm), Lunt LS50THa, ATM SSM, ATM Newt 300/1500 mm, PGR Chameleon 3 mono (ICX445)

These are great shots Ronnie! The big APM seems to be working very well indeed.
