Hi all,
Here is the photo of the AR12709 as were seen early morning May 13 2018 in the Ca-K line.
Seeing was mostly poor with some brief improvements. I took three movies of this tiny sunspot group
and this image is the best of these three.
Telescope used: C11 280mm F/10 SCT equipped with the ARIES full size (295mm) two bands DERF, the filter is Ca-K PST filter. Basler 1920-155 camera.
A very short exposure (2ms) and a very high speed (220fps) help to registrate very delicate details visisble slightly
off band of the Ca-K 393,4nm line.
300 frames out of 4500 were selected and stacked. Processed in AS!2 and AstraImage 3.0 and then in a PS CS6.
Thanks for looking.
Valery

Hi Valery
I do not recall seeing too many hires CaK images - lots to see - any idea of the scale - how many kilometers the image is?
