Got the tilt on the camera sorted this morning with todays full disk - happily with this setup it needs very little which means todays disk is sharper from limb to limb. Hoping to laser cut some gaskets in a bit and then hopefully should be able to finalise the clocking of etalons for a more even illumination across the disk.

A uniform disk, Mark, with much contrast. The large spotless active area to the east is also well defined.

Re: Fridays Full Disk 22nd June
Cheers folks! These full disks are taken around f9, I use a barlow on a very short nosepiece to give me a magnification factor of ~1.25x, this allows me to maximise nearly full frame on the PGR Ch3. I also tried the etalon setup on the Tal100R as I had another adaptor plate made up. Here the images are running about f25 and the 3.45um pixels of the CH3 are just too small and at this scale a imx174 chipped camera with larger 5.86um pixels would be much better.

I think next time with the Tal I will not use the 1.25x barlow.
Just waiting for the haze to break this morning and hopefully get some good views later on.
