Filament and FD 25/6/18

Post by DJD »

Beautiful day but sweltering in the new obsy.
Seeing early on was not great so lim ited it to a couple of SERs using the Tal/PST mod.
Nearere lunchtime I put the SM40/62mm Petzval on a tandem bar and did a FD.
Filament is 50 frames stacked from 1200 frame SER.
FD is 50 frames stacked from 900 frame SER.
Hope everyone gets some sun ( but not heatstroke ) :D
Best wishes,
David

Good images, Dave. Glad the new observatory is up and running, if a little hot.

Beautiful images David :bow it is unusual for the obsy to be hot, anyone would think you live in the Mediterranean

I have never known weather like this for more than 15 years, we have had 10 minutes of rain since April, everything is brown! everything is usually green. We have sunshine, it is such a strange concept and new to my brain :)
