Solar Granulation -broadband Ha 20180701

Post by Carbon60 »

A few from this morning in red light using the 250mm RCT fitted with a full size Aries DERF. The seeing conditions were not great and the SER sequences looked pretty bad until AS!3 and Imppg did their thing. Processed in mono and colour with a bit of image cropping and refinement to give a 'closer view'.

acA1920-155um camera
Baader Ha 7nm filter
TV Powermate 2.5x plus 1.5x Barlow.
AS!3, Imppg, PixInsight.

Very nice detail in the pictures! This proves that your location is not a hopeless seeing wise.

Why didn't you imaged in H-a?

Many thanks, everyone.

Valery, I just concentrated on granulation shots this session, trialling various combinations of filters, barlows and settings to get the best I could.

Cheers

Stu.
