15 July AR in CaK

Post by p_zetner »

Hi Everyone.

A quick close-up of the AR in Ca light with my Stellarvue 115mm f7 APO triplet. Just a quick imaging session with the refractor as I wanted to spend some time with my spectroheliograph!

Cheers, Peter.

Very nice close view, Peter. That Omega filter appears to work well with the Lunt module.

Thanks everyone.
I have to admit that I’m a little concerned about deconvolution artifacts at this image scale. I definitely noticed them when deconvoluting using ImPPG. Widening the PSF to give me some noticeable visual effect leads to artifacts upon sharpening. I’m using ImagesPlus pretty confidently but it’s extremely slow.
Peter.
