Hi,
got the Skywatcher 120 out this morning under fair seeing.
First did a run with the Quark on AR12717.
There are still some NR's visible. Could not get rid of them from the flats (seemed to get worse) and also Fast Fourier Transformation did not completely remove them.
Then switched to WL with ND 3.8 and solar continuum.
Activity at high altitude on the western limb. (See also Mark Townleys post today)
Detail
Overview
The grid might be slighly incorrect because the camera was not 100% correctly oriented.
And the area appearing on the Eastern Limb (returning AR?)
And finally some boring granulation shot
Regards,
Paul

These are great Paul, very interesting the ephemeral region on the limb developed a couple of pores.
