One year and 55 AR's ago
Hello all: here the weather is cloudy with no sign of improving. I looked back and found these two images of AR2665 one year ago. The disk was imaged with a Canon 50x zoom point and shoot camera: the close-up was my first image with the HaT scope and a PST etalon.
Clear skies to all,
Franco

Re: One year and 300 sunspots ago
Hi Franco, beautiful shots!
I remember that group, I used it to test my solar newtonian in K line imaging, really spectacular.

Thank you, Paul, for setting the count straight. I guess I had an extra beer before posting... and thank you Raf for your nice comments.

Yes, those were the days! Thanks for remind about them.
BTW I now waiting even for a pore-like spot to take a CaK picture of it with a large scope. CaK allows higher resolution and "makes" a spot bigger in a 1,7x than in H-a.
