A few lunchtime images in Ha and CaK on a beautiful blue sky day. Regrettably a very quiet sun gives limited opportunities for anything particularly exciting, but here goes:
Firstly a random sample of the chromosphere using my 150mm/Lunt 35 mod. Basler acA1920-155um camera and 2.5x Powermate.

And over to the blue end with a CaK FD taken using my Lunt B600 module on a 72mm refractor

Re: Lunchtime Sun
A nice set, Stu. At least you got some filaments...and I always like the chromosphere close-ups.

Re: Lunchtime Sun
Great images, Stu, in spite of the low activity.
Today there is a fine hedge on the SE limb, it's worth a look.

Re: Lunchtime Sun
A great set Stu I am glad you had the opportunity to catch the Sun. Clear blue all week at work, busy on Saturday, then Sunday when I could have viewed it was cloudy and raining. Monday back to sun again, I think I am cursed!

Re: Lunchtime Sun
Many thanks, Franco, Mark, Raf and Alexandra. Getting time on the scopes and having lovely sunshine can be quite a challenge, especially as we enter the autumnal period. Darn..... Roll on spring
In the meantime, good luck for those in the south as your season begins.
