Hi:
Went to the rural observatory during the weekend, clouded and lots of rain but had a chance early in the morning ot the 29th, though the sun was very low and with a thin haze.
Used my old Coronado 40mm stacked filters with the 76mm f/6.4 Televue, as also some shots with the 6" f/12 AP triplet refractor, fitted with a Daystar ATM and a 2X Baader telecentric.
The camera used was the SKYnyx 2-2.
Thanks for looking.
Eric.

I like the active region, quite a bright spot. I think it is decaying already now though. A super set of proms too
