AR2724 & AR2725 High Res Mosaic, Proms, FullDisc | 150mm, 40mm, HA | Oct 18th 2018

Heya,

Woke up to a cloudy sky but had some sucker holes. The AR's are pretty large, so I had to attempt some mosaics to be able to frame them up. I did two at different times, and you can see the differences in AR2725, it's a feisty little AR and has some activity going on spitting some filaments around in a short period of time. Some large proms are still on the limb, but I had a hard time with them through the clouds which really robbed the transparency and killed the exposure, but they're still represented.

Celestron 150mm F8 Refractor + Daystar 150mm ERF + Baader 50mm UV/IR Block Filter + Quark + ASI174MM
Coronado PST + 1.5x Barlow + ASI174MM

Very detailed views, Marty, great images.

Be careful that not all Quarks perform as Marty's one, better to have the possibility to select one among several units.
