Yes the dust storms can be quite bad as seen this year. Certainly the wind was enough to blow all the dust off the rovers and keep them alive for so long Nice animation of the shifting sand.

In Death Valley in the U.S.A. have seen the same phenomena.
"Google" moving desert rocks and there you can find how 600lbs rocks move across the desert.

Yes, not just on Death Valley its a phenomena that takes place in the snow in the artic and in sand deserts.
It should happen also in some moons and planets.
