This was taken with my Lunt LS100THa doublestacked with my Solar Spectrum modified T-scanner using a PGR Grasshopper 3 through a Coronado 2X Barlow. This was the maiden voyage for my AiryLab SSM. The SSM log shows 0.56/1.16/1.10 for the surface and 0.71/1.16/1.20 for the prom (best/avg./threshold). This is a nifty little device. Sun is low and the seeing wasn't great but I got some rather good data. I love that it will pause the video during the exposure and wait for seeing to improve before adding more frames. Having a bit of trouble with FC settings and getting it to run a sequence of more than one exposure automagically. But considering it was opening day it went quite well. I'd be curious what others think of the SSM and FC experience. What about Genika/SSM?
It's Thanksgiving here in the States. There is much to be thankful for and I sure do love roasted turkey!!
Cheers

Re: Nov. 21 H-alpha
Hi Christopher: Happy Thanksgiving to you and family. We are very thankful for all we have and the good health... The FC/SSM combination is my favorite: one reason is it’s ability to subtract flat fields in real time. I also like the easy interface in general. Great images, by the way, given the advanced time of the year.

Thank you all for the comments. Franco, your FC vote is intriguing. I almost always feel that I’m battling some bug when using FC even if it’s me which it often is. But my basis for comparison is non-existent.
Alexandria, I always enjoy this holiday. The premise is simple yet noble. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s always on a Thursday which usually makes for a nice long weekend.
Best regards.
