AR2733 in the trees

Post by ffellah »

Hello all: the sun showed up this afternoon but it was literally traveling through the top of the trees from the only position at the property where I could shoot from. Please pardon the shadows and unevenness of the image but I could not refrain from imaging this very interesting and complex sunspot group. The jetstream was not helping either, so the conditions were difficult but it was still fun to see the sun.

Hopefully better conditions will come soon for all of us...

Clear skies to all.

Franco

Hi Franco...

Good to see you caught some sun today...great results :bow

The jet stream affected you more than I based on the map but seeing was very poor none the less.

Nice capture given the foliage Franco. I have the same problem as you this time of year.

Nicely done, Franco.

It’s so frustrating at this time of the year; low sun, poor seeing, trees......

You did well :)

Hi Eric and Stu: thank you for your nice feedback. I am planning on attending NEAF: I usually go on Saturday, hope to see you there. Let's make arrangements as we get closer to the date. Hopefully Brian, Rainer and maybe others will be able to come.

Nice images, Franco. Your scope sure is pointing low in the sky now. I'll bet it worries the neighbors.

Thank you, Phil and Alexandra, for your feedback. Phil: yes, my neighbors are very concerned when they see my scope this low :o. Alexandra: we definitely have some lawn work to do this spring.
