February 19 - Filament

Post by PDB »

Through passing clouds. So waiting for good moments.

Some experiments with different placing of the focal reducer. Without tilt corrector and placed after the the tilt corrector.
The first still gave some NT's but software helped to get rid.
With tilt corrector there was heavy vignetting in one corner, but flat could get rid of that. (Next time try little less tilt)

So results of today:

With the 80mm f/6 - Quark Tilt Corrector - Reducer - Camera

Keep going, Paul. You’ll get there. At least you have some Sun to experiment with ;)
