Our dear Richard Bailey

Post by Montana »

It is with great sadness to inform you that this morning our dear solarchat friend Richard Bailey passed away. He had been suffering with prostate cancer for the past year. He always kept us up to date with his daily solar images and entertained us with his banter with SwissWalter. The two of them together talking about the 'bank' of solar spots and whether he was in the money or in deficit always had me in stitches. This has come as quite a shock as he has been doing so well recently.

Well Richard, you are with SwissWalter now and investing in the solar bank together.

Does anyone have a copy of that lovely photograph of Richard, Pedro, Stephen and Mark from 2014? I would love to have it.
