PST on February 20, 2019

Post by Astrophil »

I recently purchased a Coronado PST with the intention of double stacking. After a quick look through it I proceeded taking it apart. Thanks Mark and Ken for the invaluable information about the PST. The double stacking has not worked out yet so I reassembled it and tried imaging through it. A barlow was needed to achieve focus with the PGR Grasshopper and all I had was a 2.5x so a single shot FD was not possible. A 1.5x or 2x might work.

Today I discovered that the PST really is a nice little Ha scope.

Looks like you have a very good one there :) is it new or used? (just wondering what age it is).

Thanks for the comments. I do have a long way to go to get the best from this little scope, but it's fun to see the full disk.
Alexandra, I bought it new last month.
