Foggy and cloudy this morning but then the cloudy parted and left us with a sunny afternoon. There were no spots in white light but some faculae on the limb. I also did some polar shots, looking for polar faculae but there was almost no activity at all. There was a nice plage area in Ca-K as well as some small proms. H alpha showed a nice filament and some surface activity.

What a beautiful set David I am glad you had a look for the polar facuale, I think I have only seen them once in a shot from Eric last weekend. This year is the year to see them so we should all be on the look out for these tiny regions
