H-alpha, 25022019

Post by bart1805 »

After all the CaK experiments back to H-alpha.
Baader D-Erf _ 150 mm f/8 Skwywatcher _ Baader Glasspath 1,25x _ Baader 35nm H-alpha _ PST-etalon A _ Lunt B1200 _ ASI290MM.
Stacked 100 images out of about 4.000 from half a minute. Did not use the SSM because I forgot that when you re-install FC, you also have to re-install other software..... Could get it running while looking at the sun.

The soft approach:

Thanks Rainer and Franco!
When looking closely at the image, I think even this one is processed too much. The double limb has double lines, and that is not the outcome you want. Probably a bit too much LR deconvolution causes this. It will be cloudy this weekend, so time to try out a softer approach.
