March 7, 2019 solar images

It was a nice clear day so a little fun in the sun was in order. A PST captured the full disk and the Quantum Six went in for the closeups.

Very nice FD, AR Close views and prom, Phil. Lots of fine details in these images, particularly in the prom shot. Nice.

I missed the bit about the Quantum six and saw the close ups and thought s**t that PST is good :lol: then thought, no can't be :lol:

That PST is a keeper! It produces great images as does the larger setup! Keep em' coming!

Thank you. You all are too kind. Since acquiring the PST I have been scouring the internet searching for good images produced with this little scope. I found many that in my opinion were mediocre at best and I felt pleased with my results. Eventually I stumbled across PST images taken almost a decade ago that gave me pause and prompted me to rethink what constitutes a good image. These were taken by Alexandra.
