Hi , I've just got into solar astronomy, and I must say this field of astronomy has caught me big time. I started out with white light then Ha (lunt LS60tha ASI 120mm -s) . Now my interest has evolved towards spectroscopy. I have Ken's book(Imaging Sunlight Using a Digital Spectroheliograph) on order from the UK at $55AUD inc postage, Dymocks sell it in Australia for $88.99 AUD.
I would like to thank the forum members and administrators for the great reference section. It has really been a great help.

Welcome Martin! Look forward to seeing what you make! I've always wanted to build a D-Spectroheliograph to do ultra-ultra-narrowband disc imaging in various wavelengths and Ken's book is awesome for this.

Welcome, Martin. I'm looking forward to seeing your work. Good luck with the SHG project. Ken's book is really informative on the subject. I'm considering building one myself someday, although it's difficult enough getting any sun-time on any of my scopes at the moment, never mind another one.....
