Amateur Astronomers Meeting and Messier Marathon (20190406)

The Observatory do Lago Alqueva and the Portuguese Amateur Astrononomers Association (APAA) organized an Amateur Astronomers Meeting during the afternoon of the 6th of April.

Check out a few images of this meeting that included a solar talk and solar observation

H-alpha, WL and Ca II K imaging kit for various image scales.
Fluxgate Magnetometers (1s and 150s Cadence).
Radio meteor detector.

Thanks guys

We were unable to do the Messier Marathon. It was cloudy during the night (very unusual for this time of the year in Portugal)

Mark: It was cold as well
