Friday morning was beautiful, although, as is so often the case, the seeing conditions were pretty poor with only the briefest of clear viewing. I shot through pretty much all of my SD memory to get something half decent across the spectrum from CaK to Ha.
Valery, I ran half my session on the 250mm RCT with nothing to show for my efforts in hi-res Ha...
Anyhow, first up, the proverbial FD in CaK (Altair Lightwave 72mm F6 with Lunt B600/K-Line/Omega filter stack). Basler acA2440-75um IMX250 with 1.5x Barlow.

The same filter setup with the Tecnosky 125/acA1920-155um on a 2.7x APM Barlow for a closer view of AR2738

I did manage to grab an image in 656nm red on the 250mm RCT, but narrow band hi-res was useless under the conditions.

I had more luck on my 150mm/DS Lunt 35 mod with the acA1920-155um IMX174 camera and 2.5x Powermate.
First up is a mosaic of four captures with quite a bit of overlap.

Thanks for looking.

That looks beautiful Stu! And interesting to compare your CaK image with mine. Even the image scale is almost the same.

Re: Sun in Ha and CaK 12th April
Super set there Stu! I'm on my travels in Beddgelert for a week and have the little travelling setup in the back of the car so hoping to get some images at some point. Solar observing has already been minuted as an activity for today...
