Great HR H-alpha images Maurits, your Quark Chromosphere is a keeper, mine had to be sent for repairs

Very, very sharp images, Maurits. What programs do you use for the post processing ?

Franco, I usually use FireCapture or SharpCap for the recording.
Then I run AutoStakkert and most ImppG (sometimes Registax 6) and a little bit sharpen in PS CS6 ... that's all I do.

For me, the most important thing is take time when I FOCUS the telescope.

Especially a lot of patience when I'm waiting for the temporary better seeing.

I look to the display and sometimes I can count the seconds when the better seeing returns, there is exactly a certain regularity in the seeing and then take a record at the right time. :)

Remember: Only a sharp picture can be made even better, a blurry photo remains a lesser picture after what sort of post processing you do.

Good stuff Maurits. I like the 'frothy' part of the active region as much as the sunspot.
