The Sun - 20th April

Post by David_The_Bears_Fan »

Tougher conditions today, seeing not bad but some high-haze / cirrus which has left my Ca-K FD a little uneven. Still lots to see today with some decent proms to go with the AR and some nice granulation showing in WL.

Very nice indeed, David. I presume the close view granulation image is also with the Lacerta Brewster angle wedge.

Thanks all
Stu - Yes, white light shots done with the Lacerta wedge. Close ups done with the ASI and the full disk with the DSLR. I have both the Lacerta and Lunt 1.25" wedges but cannot see much difference in the results.

Thanks for the info, Dave. I’ll give mine another try as so far the results have been less than spectacular.
