Two solar active regions in Ha.

Post by smerral »

Some shots of active regions 2740 and 2741 on the sun this morning at 0800 UT. Plus a rather faint prominence. Quark Chromosphere with the Altair Astro 102 ED-R and Antares 0.5x reducer. 300/2000 frames. DMK31 camera. There is some vignetting, probably due to the reducer. I may try the Celestron 0.63x next time, or even dispense with it altogether.
