Prom image from July 10

Post by gabrieli »

When I saw a reasonably large prom on the GONG website, I decide to put off some house painting until later in the afternoon.
Despite expected poor seeing, I felt this would be a good time to test a 0.63X reducer on a c9.25 with a Baader 3X telecentric. Here's the best result of several images of the same area. Other images taken with no reducer were unusable.

I wonder if it was the same Prom I caught around 10am on 10 /07/2019 . On my Lunt LS60THa it was a real bright one.
