Having used a Quark calcium for two years I eventually decided to try some CaK imaging. From the European Lunt dealer I found a good offer for a straight-through B600, which I preferred to the diagonal version as it has a shorter optical path (I have also a H-alpha BF1200 ST and indeed it is more versatile for imaging).
Although this CaK unit is the smallest of the series I have been able to get a full disc by using of my 150mm f/5 refractor (750mm F.L.) with aperture reduced to 75mm. However for FD imaging I prefer to use of a Skywatcher 72ED (420mm F.L.). I tried to capture some prominences but I am still not satisfied, have to find the best processing procedure yet. These are my first CaK images, comments and suggestions would be much welcomed. All images with N up and W right.

A very nice FD, Raf. Beautifully even illumination across the disk.

Re: My first CaK image
Thanks to all, this CaK device is indeed definitively more funny than my calcium Quark
I noted that the filter is recommended up to 100mm aperture, I suppose an ERF is required for larger refractors but the 2" tube end has no thread for my blue CCD filter, is there any way to make an adaptation ?
