Here's the best of a dozen images from today (August 4). It was taken with an Aries 265 mm ERF + c9.25 plus a long overhanging module at the back of the scope including a Quark Combo and an Antares 0.7X 2" reducer in front of a 3.2 Mp Blackfly S (working at 1530 x 1530 pixels). The efl was roughly the same as produced by my LS152 (about 4000mm). The view showed a lot of unrecordable feint detail. So far, this season, the seeing has been below average. When I look back at some of my earlier images, I'm reminded of how good the seeing has been in the past. I guess there's always tomorrow.

Some nice tiny proms there Lou
This year has been a struggle for me too, not the seeing but actually seeing the Sun

Good image, Lou. The seeing is so often the weakest link in the optical train.
