There were quite a few proms around the disk on this day but most were very hard to see. The seeing was awful at midday with high frequency "waves" dfistorting the limb. The processing required was heavy (high medium wavelets on AstarImage + Adaptive Filternoise reduction). Most images show bands that arc over the image. They sometimes appear under heavy processing. An LS152 was used.
I've also included an image of Plato taken during the most recent last quarter with some striking shadows.
On another note: Lunt introduced a new LS100MT on YouTube (a scope based on a 100mm triplet ). There was no price stated.
