Afternoon sun October 13th

Post by ffellah »

Hello all: a very quick session with the SM90 this afternoon. The sun was behind the clouds, so only one image to show. There was a nice arching prominence, plus few others. Hope you like it..

Clear skies to all.

Franco

Nice image, Franco. No gaps here...just clouds.

Very nice Franco. I didn't get to observe the sun at all yesterday. Completely overcast. Today has nice clear blue skies but the seeing is horrible.

Hi Franco,

That is a nice catch. Is your SM90 a single etalon or DS.

Thank you, Alfred ! It is double stacked but for this type of images I removed the second stack to get a brighter image of the prominences.
