A spot!

Between low activity and winter clouds, this is the first spot that I've seen in quite a while

Bruce, wonderful images! That spot looks so dark. Winter clouds? You must be “ down under “.

Nice spot. It’s a pity we’ve got clouds and rain here....so frustrating.

Ta Bruce.
Brillo images.
Waiting here in S.E.England for the fluffy-stuff to clear - which might take a few days yet.

Cheers

Hi Bruce,

Nice shot of the spot. I set off B flares today.

Unfortunately, it has been raining for 3 days here !!

Thanks all

I empathize with all of you still under the clouds. That's frequently the condition here. The seeing was extremely variable, from mush to decently sharp and back again in a fraction of a second. A fast camera sure helps.

James ( Winter clouds? You must be “ down under “.)
Not really. I'm in northern Michigan. Winter weather patterns run until about the end of April (and start in late September). I think we're scheduling Summer for the first week of August this year. The spot might be a little over processed. As I was working on the image I could see a small bridge across the spot, but it didn't come out in the final version.

Alexandra - I took the pictures on the afternoon of the 4th of June (yesterday)
