The sun from (June 4) and moon (a few days ago)

Post by gabrieli »

The moon images were temporarily misplaced on the usb drive that held them. The scope used was a Celestron 180(7"). The lunar seeing conditions were, as usual, better than the solar conditions.

The first image of the AR used a 3X telecentric in front of the etalon and a 0.5X reducer in front of the camera.
The second image used a 2X Televue Powermate before the etalon and no reducer.
