Another AR12765 6/6/20

Post by RodAstro »

Another image AR12765 taken between rain, observatory roof cam off, found the active region focused, observatory roof went back on in a rush as downpour struck. Observatory roof came off, fit camera and focus, observatory roof back on, another downpour. Observatory roof came off start a 5000 frame capture abandoned at 1224 frames, observatory roof went back on, more rain

Anyway a better result than yesterday with forty percent of the images staked in AS3 and sharpened in ImPPG then finished in PaintShopPro9
Taken with 150mm f15, Daystar SS60-DS Quark unit ASI174.

It can be so frustrating with the weather sometimes, Rod. You did well to capture this fine image.

Hi Rod,

Your persistence paid off. Great job watching the weather and seizing the windows of opportunity.

Hi
After reediting I like this better.
I could have done with more images to get rid of the grain though.
