What's that scope in the visual setup exactly? A standard SW102 with some foil around the tube or...?

James: I use my solar scopes visually quite often. It's always interesting to observe the sun

Jochen: It's a second hand SW102 f/5 wrapped with silver adhesive paper (I got it for 90 euros). I use it with a SM90II + BF15

That’s great. You haven’t lost your visual skills! Your SW102 works basically like a single-stacked Coronado SMII90. Except at F5 instead of F8. I like the silver finish. Cool!

I use it mainly for visual now, the contrast is not that good, visually is not bad though

Does it show limb detail, like prominences adequately? Disc detail seems to suffer more from low contrast.
