June 11, AR12765 closeup C11
Hi,
This week I tried out to use my C11 with 295mm Aries D-ERF and Quark Chromo for a fabulous spot region. The seeing forecast was promising Thursday, I started with about F/45 w/o reducer, but in fact, there was a thin upper haze. The final images were obtained too noisy so I decided to make a mosaic of several good enough processed frames downscaled 50%.
thanks for looking,
Leo

Interesting and almost weird images. Even trying to put names to the shapes produces something different..
Thanks

Thanks to all, very appreciated!
Alfred, my Quark is not so good because of the non-uniform big part of the field. It's annoying and it makes me think of a better etalon.
Alexandra, concerning seeing it was measured by meteoblue site as 1,5", but not by my SSM so I don't believe. I would like you to see a different version with a 0,5x Daystar reducer for comparison.
This time turned almost (not to cut more) to the right position on the disk. 100% scale, 2 frames only
