15Jun - C11 CAK with Lunt B1200 + TV2xPM
It rained heavily the night before. The humidity was about 80%. While waiting for the new version Televue x2.5 PM to be delivered, I tried the following setup - ARIES D-ERF with a 220mm mask+C11+ 2" Televue x2 Powermate +Lunt B1200 CAK module + PST CAK filter + ASI 174mm camera:
Did a general survey:
By the time I moved to the departing AR, seeing was rather poor:
I did not see a reflected light with the 2" Telelvue x2 Powermate. However the image has a hole in the top left-hand corner:
Unfortunately clouds covered the skies and I didn't have time to figure out how to get the image to centered. Looks promising. Would need to investigate and hopefully fix it.

Wow!! that is phenomenal! so I bought the wrong Powermate then, I should have bought this 2" version I am sure your new 2.5x Powermate will be exactly the same as the old one, as mine is brand new and doesn't work, unless I was sold very old stock.

The 2" x2 Powermate looks promising. Unfortunately the raining season is here (south-west Monsoon). Hope to align the FOV soon.
I have not abandoned hope on TV x2. 5 PM. Will test it by putting it immediately after the C11, when it is delivered.

Thanks Mark and Rainer.
I have been looking around for postings of removal of the ERF from the Lunt B1200 CAK module. Didn't find any. Does anyone know?

Very impressive images, Alfred!
Have you tried Baader TZ-3 for Ca? Declared diffraction limited design at 396 nm.
BTW, what about your Alluxa 0,15nm filter?
regards
Leo

Hi Leo,
That is a good suggestion about trying a Baader TZ-3. It will be one of my tinkering activities.
Regarding the Alluxa filter, Apollo has updated me that it will be on the way soon. I will post images with it.
