Full disk 18-06-2020

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

As Sunny as yesterday and no big changes on the Sun's surface.

The spot in the Northeastern quadrant at +19° did not change much. It is clearly a cycle 25 spot with -/+ polarity.

Could the area in the Northeastern quadrant at +35° and -30° change in the next days and get more active ?

As always best seen in new tab for full size :bow2

Very nice, there seems to more filaments lately, a sign there are lurking magnetic fields!

Yes, apart from some nice proms at 2000hrsGMT, there certainly does seem to be an interesting AR in the NE QUADRANT..

Cheers

Looks like the little AR is just another little one, we want him to grow into a big one though :) lots of amazing filaments and proms on the disc, these are great images Rainer :bow :hamster:
