Solar Animation - Saturday 2020-06-20

Post by Ronnie_Clayton »

Hello friends.

Today I did one more animation. For this time lapse I used 50 videos, one per minute (50 frames for 50min of time lapse).

The videos was stacked using AS!2.

To edit it (deconvolution (restoration filter), color, curves, etc) I used PixInsight. I've created a ProcessContainer and using a ImageContainer it was possible do it automaticle for all frames.

To align the frames I´ve used the IMPPG and PhotoScape as a GIF generator. Affinity Photo to put the final information.

I hope you like it.

Ronnie

Beautiful animation, Ronnie.
I’ve been thinking about investing in PixInsight. You’ve certainly used it to good effect.
Cheers.

Many thanks friends :) .

PixInsight is a great tool for who wants to work with solar surface and ejections in the same picture (or frame).

Here two framee of this video. Unfortunately GIF is not a good image format to have good colors e good details...

Pixinsight is a killer program, especially if you do night time astrophotography. I've just started using it for halpha solar as well, and finding it to be equally effective, just in a different way.

Great timelapse! I just watched chuckastro's tutorial (his reddit handle, not sure of his actual name) and he showed how to use the process and image containers to batch process, so I'm excited to try this out. Of course the moment I acquire new information and a desire to try something new, a week of clouds is forcasted, lol.
