Sunday 28th June 2020 AR2766 in the making

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Hi everybody,
Keep an eye, camera on the AR in the far SW corner of the limb, as it contains (has contained) two small Sun-spots which could be the beginning of AR2766 - if it continues as such...

Spaceweather.com and SDO imagery show this for the 28th June/AM.

Good hunting.

Terry

Cheers Terry.

Looks like a pair of (cycle 25) spots indeed. Lets hope it develops into something (and if so, survives until it rotates back into view).
