2.07.2020 Fuzzy spot snatched from the jaws of overcast.

Post by Rusted »

Hi,

Mostly overcast with small gaps.
The softest seeing ever witnessed my man. [Or woman] :D

The "fuzzy spot" is a good title Rusted.
Glad you found another hole to capture it - well done

Terry

Beautiful images, Rusted. I was out this morning with a Lunt 50mm and saw two beautiful prominences, one rather tall, 180 degrees from each other. The other one was a hedgerow prom, sort of. Anybody that has a scope handy should take a look...

Terrific!! at least you are getting to see this spot :bow :bow

Still raining here and now no internet either :( we now have an emergency internet relay that is supposed to pick up 4G but we can only get 3G if I am lucky by wedging it in the radiator which seems to give it bit of a signal boost :( my Solarchatting might be very reduced over the next week.

Seeing don't look too bad for 150mm Rusted.

Thanks Mark. :bow

The seeing is always clearly visible on my big monitor.
The difference is quite literally night and day between "hot fuzz" and "view from an orbiting spacecraft."
I average 500 frames in 2 seconds so I can carefully choose my moments for capture.
It is utterly amazing how crystal clear it can be for a few moments.
Like watching water ripples settle to reveal the bed of a stream.
